BARCELONA MAKES A MOVE FOR DEMBELE
The departure of Brazilian superstar Neymar Jr. from Barcelona caused an uproar, created a vacuum in the first team of the Catalan giants but they showed some invigorating signs by making a move for Borussia Dortmund's revelation for last season - Ousmane Dembele.
The grapevine has it that Barcelona and Dembele have reportedly reached an agreement on his personal terms.
Dembele, who only joined the German side last summer has shown form that has caught the eye of several heavyweight clubs around Europe and this latest news will be music to the ears of Liverpool fans who must now believe that they will keep hold of Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho.
Italian football journalist Tancredi Palmeri has tweeted that - Barcelona have reached an agreement on personal terms with Dembele and have decided to bid €80million for him. Dembele had earlier claimed that he is happy at Dortmund and intends to say but according to his club, they will only let him leave if his valuation is met.
The door of wild possibilities has been flung open with the dramatic departure of Neymar from Barcelona, the move for Dembele should come as little or no surprise.
With their financial strength receiving a 222m euros boost from the sale of Neymar, Barcelona are more than capable of shopping for a replacement.
